The trick to stop breastfeeding
When an anonymous user asked the influencer how she managed to “unpin” Grace, Stash’s partner gave an unexpected response: “I stopped breastfeeding Grace when I got pregnant with Imagine. She associated breastfeeding with falling asleep, so I started letting her sleep with her dad or grandma or aunt. To detach them from the breast, I put some vinegar in (I don’t know if it’s right or wrong, but it worked in my case). She felt the stench and automatically pushed off her breast. It was difficult for both of them. I didn’t want to stop and she didn’t want to come loose, but over time we managed.”
The controversies
Some have called the method inappropriate, some even traumatic, but there have been several people who opposed it and debated the fact that vinegar, among other things, is not a recommended food for such young children. In fact, little Imagine was born about a year and a half after the couple’s eldest daughter Grace, who was still taking milk from her mother to urge Giulia to do her best to be able to focus on the new pregnancy.
