The four-part series – all of which is now available to watch on Stan – depicts the unrelenting struggle many teenage girls face – either being bullied or being bullied.
Viewers are first introduced to protagonist Jo Mackenzie (played by Jana McKinnon) when she is 25 years old.
She reunites with her old school friend Alice Kang (Yerin Ha) and memories of the brutal year they spent together at Silver Creek – the wilderness campus of an exclusive boarding school – surface.

The trailer for the series shows an adult Jo thinking back to her teenage years at boarding school.
“Your year here will change your life,” says her new director of a young Jo, and while it changed her life, it certainly wasn’t for the better.
Then a gloomy and spooky shack is shown where the young girls are all sleeping together in the woods.
‘Where do you sleep?’ Jo’s mother questions a teacher as she shows her the girls’ cabin, before replying that they sleep “down the road,” away from the teens.

This is where the relentless bullying took place – with one of Jo’s friends telling her that the darkness of Silver Creek was “the whole point”.
Directed by Corrie Chen, written by Pip Karmel, and produced by Amanda Higgs, the Stan Original Series mimics its mostly female cast with an all-female creative team.
It also features an ensemble cast including Erana James and Tuuli Narkle. Dan Spielmann. Diana Glenn, Manshologane Maile and newcomers Melissa Kahraman, Daya Czepanski, Bronte Locke, Abbey Morgan, Malaynee Hayden and Jessica Lu.
Bad Behavior is currently streaming on Stan.
