Mari showed off her flat stomach in a photo taken in an elevator mirror. “I don’t have an elevator to take a selfie, so resent me for using someone else’s elevator because ‘take a picture of the mirror to post it on Facebook’ (laughs),” the actress joked in reference the hit Ela é Top.” In the same mirror, she even posed accompanied by a friend, doing “power” to appreciate her sixpack. “Break, mate!” he joked.

Mari has been going through a weight loss process in recent years and while she has inspired many women, she has chosen to approach the subject with great caution. For example, she refused to reveal how many pounds she had lost. She claimed that doing so would encourage the culture of thinness, something she has spoken out against.
“I’ve been exercising and eating right for a while, okay? I haven’t lost any weight at all. It was a very slow process. You know I don’t have that weighty attachment. But I have a workout routine, I do it Monday through Friday,” Mari stressed during a conversation with followers in 2021.
