Simone Mendes opens up on intimate surgery, fighting dandruff and acceptance
Simone Mendes has published a video on her YouTube channel in which she answers some questions from her fans. During the conversation, the singer opened up about selfacceptance after having to undergo invasive genital surgery because of a health issue. She also shared more details about a potential musical collaboration with Maiara and Maraisa.
The intimate surgery performed by the singer was due to a hemorrhoid that developed during pregnancy.
“During my pregnancy I was bleeding and the hemorrhoid got so infected that it ruptured a spot in my ass. I went to the doctor, the doctor did the surgery and the ass was fine, everything was organized,” the singer explained.
Simaria’s sister also revealed that she met the doctor who operated on her about two years later at a friend’s birthday party. She then joked about it, “It’s a disgrace for a person to operate the wheel with a stranger.”
Still in the video, Simone talks about her selfacceptance and one of the questions she received was what to do to accept herself. The singer was candid and replied that she could not help or answer this question because she lives in a constant battle with Libra.
“I don’t accept myself for who I am. I’m a scale wrestler, you know that. I live in this constant quest for weight loss. I’m losing weight and gaining weight, I’m living in this wave because I don’t accept myself that way,” he admitted.
The singer, who ended the duo with Simaria in August last year, also answered whether she wanted to record with Maiara and Maraisa.
“Whatever day you want, whenever you want, I’m ready, prepared and willing,” joked Simone.
