“My desire to be on stage is immense and I have to do what I love! I will keep singing and spreading all my joy and love to the fans all over Brazil. I’ll be back on stage soon and I count on your support, love and energy on my new path.”

Born in Uibaí (BA), the sisters began singing professionally in their teens, as backing singers for Frank Aguiar. Then they were part of the band Forró do Miúdo.

In 2012 they founded the duo. Though their early careers focused on forró and arrocha, the duo went on to become one of the biggest names in feminejo, the movement that increased the presence of women in country music.

The duo’s biggest hits include “Regime Fechado”, “Loka” (with Anitta), “Ta tum tum” (with Kevinho), “Vontade de morder” (with Zé Felipe), “Foi pá pum” and “Amor mal resolve”. ” (with Jorge and Mateus).

  • The next day, as fans began to fear a possible split, the duo promised an announcement on Wednesday afternoon. “I’m tired of the gossip, I’m going to reveal a great piece of information”, read the text,
  • But the “colleguinhas” have just released the clip of one of their new songs, “Amiga” (the video is available since April 29th),
  • On Thursday (16th), however, the announcement came: Simaria announced that she would “leave the stage” and that Simone would take over the agenda alone. “I have to take care of my health,” the singer said, without specifying the time when she will be away from the shows.
  • On Thursday evening (16), following the announcement, Simone played her first show alone and was transferred to the stage in Paty de Alferes in Rio de Janeiro. “You can’t imagine how difficult it is,” said the singer, who also told her sister, “You are the most important thing in my life. The love I have for your life is so great, so great that I am able to give my life for your life.”
