"She Ate It Right Out Of The Bowl" : A Relative Of Jackie Kennedy's Revelations About Her Violent Bouts Of Bulimia TELES RELAY

Thursday, May 19, 2022 marked the 28th anniversary of the disappearance of Jackie Kennedy. And the one who was a fashion icon in the 1960s hid a genuine obsession with her body.

Thanks to her elegance, her culture, her beauty and her style of dress, Jackie Kennedy has become one true fashion icon in the 1960s: The wife of the 35th President of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, cultivated his looks and especially its silhouette to always be presentable.

But behind her perfect appearance hides the First Lady of the United States true obsession with his body and did not hesitate to impose a drastic diet. In the May 2017 book Jackie’s Girl: My Life with the Kennedy Family, Kathy McKeon made several revelations about Jackie Kennedy’s personal life. In fact, the one who had assisted him for 13 years had revealed it was her controlled his diet and ate only 600 calories a day.

Kathy McKeon: “We met in the pantry at night.”

If Jackie Kennedy was on such a strict diet, it was because she was prone to it severe binge eating. Kathy McKeon had also stated that she had found him several times White cabinets. “If she walked into the kitchen and saw a brownie or some cookies, she’d grab it and eat it right off the plate,” she wrote.

During her crises, Caroline and John-John Kennedy’s mother even had developed schemes to avoid being discovered. His former governess had testified: “We met by chance in the pantry one night. She didn’t turn on the light because she didn’t want to be seen in thereShe then continued, “I caught her eating ice cream out of the glass with a big spoon. Not a small one, no, a huge one.” A moment that particularly resonated with Kathy McKeon, who explained that Jackie Kennedy doesn’t usually have a big appetite.
