Shakira realized her ex was allegedly cheated on over a jam jar referenced in music video with her head in the fridge: report

Shakira fans believe the singer realized her ex Gerard Piqué was cheating on her when she returned to her house from a tour to find an empty jar of strawberry jam. She eats strawberry jam, but her husband and children reportedly dislike it.

The Colombian singer also apparently referenced the incriminating spreadable, which showed the disembodied head of her collaborator for the song “Te Felicito” in a refrigerator that she opened, in a music video she released around the time of their split last year.

The jam revelation was reported by ShowNews Today, which pointed to the internet frenzy.

“The moment Shakira saw that jam bottle when she opened the fridge she knew it was over for her,” one fan tweeted. Another said, “I found out my ex got through a smoothie receipt.” cheated in his car. Shakira found out through a jar of jam. I don’t care how crazy we look or sound, if something doesn’t feel right, women will always find out.”

Shakira may have shadowed Gerard Piqué in her music video "Te Felicito" when she opens a refrigerator and finds the head of song collaborator Rauw Alejandro inside. The pop star reportedly found a jar of jam in her fridge, which made her suspicious that Piqué had cheated on her while she was away.

A Shakira representative did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

In the video about a lying ex who wasn’t what he appeared to be, Shakira sings about how she “can’t stand two-faced people” and sings, “Your wound didn’t open my skin, but she opened my eyes.” She also opens a refrigerator to find the head of her collaborator on the song, Rauw Alejandro, who some fans believe is a reference to Piqué’s jam.

In an interview with Britain’s This Morning show last May, Shakira said she opened the fridge in the video “to find out the truth. So I go to the fridge and there I find Rauw Alejandro’s head, which is pretty scary,” she laughed.

ShowNews Today reported that the Spanish TV show Socialite determined the clue was the jam jar. That set the internet on fire.

The 45-year-old pop star also renewed her shadow against Piqué in a new hit song last week, which dubs his new girlfriend a budget version of Shakira and says she won’t go back to him even if he begs her.

Shakira, 45, and the Spanish soccer player, 35, split last year after 11 years amid rumors he was cheating on her.

In BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53, a collaboration with Argentinian DJ Bizarrap, Shakira sings “I was out of your league” and “This is for you to be morified, to chew and swallow, swallow and chew” in Spanish. I won’t come back with you, not if you cry, not even if you beg me.”

Pique was reportedly shadowing his wife by carrying a Casio and was seen driving a Renault Twingo after the song was released.

According to Marca, Shakira is also reportedly building a wall around their house to keep out Piqué’s mother, who lives close by. She referenced their closeness on “BZRP Music Sessions,” singing, “You left me with your mom as a neighbor.”
