More than half a year after the separation of Shakira and the retired player Piqué, the singer does not want to know anything about the end of the relationship hidden behind the scenes. He’s already released a song full of references to the jock and his new girlfriend, and even gored his former motherinlaw by putting a witch costume on the porch.
In a bid to permanently cut ties with Piqué’s family, the Colombian is now building a wall on the property separating her residence and her exmotherinlaw’s home. That’s according to Spanish newspaper Marca, which says her plans to move to Miami with her children have been put on hold because of her father’s health.
According to the publication, construction machinery was seen on the ground. Although the two houses are independent of each other, they are connected by some accesses. In the song “Musics Sessions,” Shakira makes several references to her ex and now, one of them when she says “I’m worth two out of 22,” the age of Clara Chía, who was named Piqué’s new girlfriend.
The couple split in June last year after 11 years together amid rumors of the former player’s betrayal. The former couple have two children together: Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7.
