Senator Jorge Kajuru tattoos Álvaro Dias’ face on his back

Senator Jorge Kajuru (PodemosGO) showed a tattoo of the face of his colleague in Parliament, Senator Álvaro Dias (PodemosPR), in a video published on his social networks on Thursday (10). The homage was a promise made in the Senate that has now been kept.

“I want to pay my tribute here, which I promised in the Senate. I have the floor […] My way of thanking this public man whom all of Brazil respects and admires, this public man I have only learned from him my whole life. We’ve become friends, God gave me this gift and I want to show it to him,” Kajuru says in the video, noting that it’s his only colored tattoo.

In an informal moment, Álvaro Dias reacted with surprise to the tribute. “What barbarism! That’s the biggest sign of friendship I’ve ever received. It is an honor for me to be there on these shores. It’s a good man’s back. Brave. Prettier than me!” he explained in the video.

The tribute comes as Dias leaves the mandate after losing to Sergio Moro (UniãoPR) in the 2022 elections. Kajuru has four more years in office.

Kajuru collects exotic tattoos as a result of paying tribute to friends or celebrities. Below that, he drew the faces of moderators José Luiz Datena and Adriane Galisteu, singer Claudia Leitte and his mother Maria José Nasser da Costa on his body. He commented on them in a 2017 interview with RecordTV.

“Galisteu was fucked up, Claudia is perfect, Datena was fine and Mama was perfect. Mom was like that, who knows, gets emotional. Galisteu didn’t happen, she was very mad at me, but to do it again would hurt like hell.”
