Selena Gomez was forced to repeat her lupus diagnosis after her social media followers noted how her hands were “trembling” in a recent clip.
The 30-year-old singer-songwriter shared a clip on TikTok earlier this month showing off her makeup and skincare routine.
At one point in the video, the Only Murders in the Building star tried applying micellar water to a sponge, but her hands looked unsteady.
Gomez later clarified that the tremors were actually a side effect of her lupus medication.

The Calm Down singer was diagnosed with lupus in 2014.
According to the Mayo Clinic, lupus occurs when your body’s immune system attacks your own tissues and organs (an autoimmune disease).
Inflammation caused by lupus can affect many different body systems — including joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart, and lungs.”
Gomez had to undergo a kidney transplant in 2017 because of the disease.

Despite being treated for the autoimmune disease, Gomez is still working hard to film the third season of her hit series Only Murders in the Building.

She was spotted Thursday filming a scene with Paul Rudd, who is reprising his role as Broadway actor Ben Glenroy for the third season of the Hulu hit after making a cameo appearance in the second-season finale.
Selena has been stoking the excitement for the third season of the critically acclaimed Who-done-it, posting a cryptic Instagram image earlier this week.
Earlier this month, she also shared a black-and-white photo of herself sitting on a couch with her illustrious co-stars, Martin Short and Steve Martin.
Rudd was also in the picture, as was legendary actress Meryl Streep.
