Selena Gomez clarified Thursday in a since-deleted Instagram Story post that she is single amid rumors she is dating The Chainsmokers member Drew Taggart.
“I love being alone,” the “Same Old Love” singer captioned a black-and-white photo of the sky behind a mountain range.
Gomez, 30, added the hashtag “#iamsingle.”
In the sombre image, fans noticed that there was a man’s head at the very bottom of the image, although most people concluded that the thick mop of hair didn’t belong to Taggart.
The post was only in the former Disney Channel star’s Storyline for a few minutes before she removed it.

Clarifying Gomez’s relationship status comes just days after she and Taggart, 33, became romantically linked.
A source told Us Weekly Monday that the “Only Murders in the Building” star and the DJ met in a “very easygoing and low key” way and “had a lot of fun together.”
“They don’t try to hide their romance by sneaking around members-only clubs,” the source said, adding that the couple enjoyed “bowling and going to the movies.”

Page Six then received exclusive photos of Gomez and Taggart bowling at The Gutter in Brooklyn. An eagle-eyed spy told us the stars flirted and “made out” like teenagers during their outing on Sunday.
Amid the chatter, Taggart’s ex-girlfriend, model Eve Jobs, deleted her Instagram, although it’s unclear why.

The 24-year-old daughter of the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs began dating Taggart last summer, but their relationship apparently fizzled amid his PDA with Gomez.
A source told Us Weekly that Eve’s split from the music producer was amicable.

While Taggart hasn’t revealed any information about where he stands with Eve or Gomez, he has been candid about his sex life in general.
He and his Chainsmokers bandmate, Alex Pall, admitted during their recent appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast that they’ve had several threesomes with fans.
