Ottawa Senators forward Josh Norris’ season is over as team boss Pierre Dorion confirmed on Monday that the midfielder will have shoulder surgery.

The American missed part of the campaign due to an injury he sustained on October 22 and returned to action on January 18.
In eight games this season, the 23-year-old has three points, including two goals. He also hit the target in Saturday’s game against the Winnipeg Jets.
Norris’ absence risks complicating the task of his team, who are penultimate in the Atlantic leg with 43 points.
