Scarlett admitted it’s easy to focus on your looks and said people convince themselves they’d be happier if they looked different.

She told The Sun: “When you work on what’s inside you and are happy with life in general, you realize that when other people find your body such a problem, it’s not a ‘you’ problem. it’s a ‘she’ problem.

“I feel like I’m finally in a place where I’m very relaxed, everything clicked.

“I’ve learned to be kinder to myself and I think it’s the first time I can really say I feel really confident.”

Scarlett frequently speaks about body positivity and often shares empowering snaps on her social media that encourage acceptance and confidence.

Discussing how women feel the pressure to conform to beauty standards, Scarlett said bodies aren’t “trends” as she urged people to love themselves.

Scarlett went on to admit that she gave up on men before her current boyfriend, Scott Dobinson, who she first met when she was 17, returned into her life four years ago.

The I’m A Celebrity winner said she felt “beaten” after a string of failed romances and said she thought she wouldn’t find anyone who wanted her instead of wanting to be on Gogglebox.

However, she said her mother Betty talked her into dating police officer Scott, and four years later Scarlett said she was waiting for him to pop the question.

Her latest comments come after Scarlett shared another body-positive message over Christmas, urging people not to worry about their weight.

The TV star, who wore both a size eight and a size 18, said “life is too short” to worry about fitting in a dress.

She told The Mirror: “My friends all wanted to lose a few pounds to get into their little party dresses and I just think life is too short.”

“And Christmas is about having joy and not denying yourself,” she continued.

“If you ask me what I’m looking forward to for Christmas, I don’t want someone to answer and say I look really skinny in this dress.”

Scarlett previously said she’s very lucky to be a size 18 and encourages everyone to celebrate their bodies without having to rely on Fatties Unite.

She tries to get everyone to be more body positive and has given her confidence.

Having once lost eight pounds herself, Scarlett said she knows what it feels like to be both sizes, but says body confidence is about celebrating our bodies.

She believes that as long as people are healthy, kind to others and true to themselves, everyone should celebrate themselves.

She told The Sun this week: “The thing about being body positive and having body confidence is just celebrating everyone’s body.”

In the post, shared in August 2021, she wrote, “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Let’s normalize chest gaps!!

“Some of the comments I’ve received are awful, but I don’t care because after years of struggling with my self-image, I’ve finally gotten to a point where I want to shout from the rooftops… You’re perfect, like that.” you’re!

“Let’s normalize the fact that every body is a beach body.”
