Leandro Trindade, moderator of the “SBT Comunidade” in Cuiabá, lost patience with an interviewee of yesterday’s broadcast. He was speaking to an attendee at one of the proBolsonaro rallies when the interviewee called for “federal intervention” — that is, a coup d’etat:
“You can cut the audio. Nobody here will defend federal intervention. Nobody will do so while I’m the moderator. Nobody will defend federal intervention here at SBT Comunidade. It’s illegal. You want to speak about your protest, you speak,” said the journalist.
“It’s illegal. There will be no place. There will be no place for that kind of speech here. We need to get things straight. There is no talk of Sunday’s vote. She lost. 60 million voted for the other candidate . Now talk about an intervention here, it won’t. It’s illegal, it’s a crime and if this country was serious, it would go to jail. It’s easy,” added Leandro Trindade.
