To the surprise of many, the company stated that “Ghost” took first place and has aired 25 times since it was first shown in 1993. “A Lagoa Azul” was second with 20 repeats, the first being in 1987.
“Most people are betting on Lagoa Azul, right? But “Ghost” is the film that was shown the most in the afternoon session. 25 times to be exact. The premiere was in 1993,” the broadcaster wrote.
“For the curious, ‘Lagoa Azul’ was screened 20 times in the ‘Sessão da Tarde’. The first in 1987,” he added.
Four years have passed since the survey was published, which may have updated the numbers reported by the channel. Both films became great classics that audiences fondly remember.
