How to remove images saved to gallery by WhatsApp
Downloading unwanted media not only affects your phone but also prevents you from receiving and downloading new content that might be useful to you. That’s because your phone’s memory is so full that it won’t support anything else, even if you need it.
It is extremely important that you configure your smartphone to avoid such situations. There are two ways to prevent unwanted media from ending up in your gallery. Check it out below and see which one suits your needs.
1st way:
- Access the settings in the WhatsApp application itself;
- Select “Conversations”;
- If your phone is an Android, click on the “Media Visibility” option. If it is an iPhone, go to “Save to Photos”;
- Disable the option in question;
This way, no media is saved in your photo gallery, so you can guarantee a clean phone without unnecessary photos or videos.

2nd way:
- Go directly to the group or window in question;
- Click More Options;
