Sarah Michelle Gellar has revealed there was a hot kissing scene between her and Scooby-Doo co-star Linda Cardellini in the 2002 film – but the clip was cut.

During her guest appearance on Bravo TV’s What What Happens Live, the 45-year-old actress, who played Daphne, opened up about the high-octane moment between her and Cardellini’s Velma.

The mother-of-two was prompted to share the information after a fan asked if the two women had a “on-the-fly relationship” in the film.

“I don’t know about a relationship on the side,” Gellar replied, adding, “but there was a hot one — I mean, I said it was hot, but they probably didn’t think it was, so it was cut short.” …’

When host and Bravo player Andy Cohen asked the blonde entertainer to explain what she meant, she clarified: “Kiss, yup, it got cut.

“It was a real kiss between Daphne and Velma that got cut. I have a feeling the world wants to see it but I don’t know where it is,” she teased.

She also addressed another fan theory questioning the sexuality of Freddie Prinze Jr., the character of Freddie Prinze Jr.

Gellar said: “There was also a great line that I’ll never forget that we have a fight, Daphne and Fred, and then I yell at him, ‘And that ascot makes you look gay!’ and I slam the door .

“They cut that, too,” she revealed to the audience. “I think that’s why I actually signed on to be in the movie,” she joked.

The Wolf Pack star continued, “I’ve known everyone’s thoughts for a long time… there were always implications that Fred was interested in both parties. They were all cut.’

Then she added: ‘[The movie] was less family friendly from the start.”

People reported that Sarah 2022 remarked about kissing Velma: “Early on in the soul swap scene, Velma and Daphne couldn’t get their souls back together in the woods.

“And so they found out that they were kissing and the souls returned to the right alignment.”

Elsewhere on Thursday night’s WWHL, Sarah answered a fan’s question about whether or not she’s ever heard of Howard Stern, after he bet $1 million that their marriage wouldn’t last.

‘Nope. I have not heard [from him] and I said there are charities waiting for that donation, Howard.’

She also remarked, “I think it should be inflated now. There are many charities waiting for you.’

Sarah first called the longtime media host while celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary on social media in September 2022.

Sharing outtakes from the interview Freddie did with Howard, she tagged @SternShow and wrote, “I think you owe us.”
