Oleg Tinkov on Instagram Russia has fucking army

Russia has a shit army, according to oligarch Oleg Tinkov on Instagram

Russian billionaire Oleg Tinkov accused the Russian army of carrying out “massacres” in Ukraine. On Tuesday, Tinkow called for an end to the “insane war” against the neighboring country on Instagram. “90% of Russians are against this war,” wrote the expatriate founder of Tinkoff Bank. Only a minority supported the war. “But 10% of all countries are idiots.”

Tinkov is one of the Russian oligarchs who were subjected to Western sanctions for the war of aggression against Ukraine. In his post, he has now sharply criticized the Russian army and the leadership circle around President Vladimir Putin.

“Nepotism, Flattery and Submission”

Russian generals now realize “they have a shit army,” Tinkov wrote. “And how could the army be any good when everything else in the country is shit and polluted by nepotism, flattery and subservience?” and soldiers die”.

Speaking in English, Tinkov addressed the West: “Please show Mr. Putin a clear way out that will save face and prevent this massacre. Please be more rational and philanthropic.”

According to Tinkov, the Russian elite is unhappy with the impact of Western sanctions on Moscow. Kremlin officials are “shocked” that they and their children can no longer spend their summer holidays in the Mediterranean. “Entrepreneurs are trying to salvage what’s left of their property,” Tinkow wrote.

Tinkoff Bank said it would not comment on Tinkow’s “private opinion”. The company founder is no longer an employee of the bank and has not been in Russia for a long time. Furthermore, he has had to deal with “health issues in recent years”.

Russian authorities are taking massive action against critics of the Ukraine invasion. Statements that the government called “fake news” about the army carry a prison sentence of up to 15 years.
