Russia, Draft Nord Stream Sabotage to UN Council ANSA

(ANSA) — NEW YORK, FEBRUARY 17 — Russia has prepared a draft resolution at the UN Security Council calling on Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to establish an independent international commission to investigate the sabotage of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 oil pipelines in the Glass Palace.

The draft states that it was established beyond doubt that the September explosions were an act of sabotage rather than a technological disaster. In addition, the Secretary-General has 14 days to submit recommendations to the Council for the establishment of the Commission.
