Rumor Roundup: Karrion Kross Pitch, Triple H Meetings, Lacey Evans, More! – Cageside seats

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favorite pastime of many fans, perhaps the second most important pastime after watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: rumors are just that – rumours. None of this has been confirmed as fact, it’s just circulating in the pro wrestling rumor mill. We track the accuracy of rumors in a weekly feature called Rumor Look Back, which can be found here. Remember, take everything with a grain of salt.

Rumors of the day:

  • Fightful Select says USA Network wants a top title to be featured more often on Monday Night Raw, and that may be the reason for a recent pitch to add Karrion Kross to the Drew McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns program, and just one of challenging Roman’s title.

  • They also say many talents have met with Triple H in person to figure out their place in the new WWE world now that Vince McMahon is gone.
  • There are currently no creative plans for Lacey Evans, per Fightful, who also notes that she was a personal favorite of Vince McMahon and her return this year was deemed “messy and directionless.”
  • PW Insider says that T-BAR is one of the names that has been talked about that is already under contract and may get some kind of repackaging in the future to make better use of it.

  • Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio again said politics wasn’t to blame for not booking AEW FTR vs. The Young Bucks at All Out, but rather the impending return of Kenny Omega and the storyline with Adam Page joining the trios division goes.
