In early January, Rosalie Vaillancourt experienced quite a shock when her daughter Marguerite suffered a brief respiratory arrest.

The comedian shared the painful episode on an Instagram Story last week and said she was “afraid for her life”. “Marguerite stopped breathing for a few seconds, which seemed like an eternity. She’s fine now. She was choking on her secretions. She was hospitalized. She had laryngitis, also known as false croup (she looks like a character from a Fred Pellerin story). Dann wrote in a second story, which can be seen in the Complètement Lycée, in particular: “I never thought that children could be sick so often!
It’s traumatic. I have trouble sleeping because I keep thinking about this moment. I get stressed when she coughs. I can’t believe it’s an illness that’s common!” Meanwhile, her daughter is back in kindergarten. Rosalie’s publicist tells us that the little one, who turned one year old on December 22nd, died on January 9th was discharged from the hospital after 24 hours of hospitalization, adding that the whole family is fine and that she has received a lot of support from those around her and the hospital staff.
