Riverdale and Supernatural actor Ryan Grantham murdered his own mother and plotted to kill Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau in 2020.
The 24yearold actor shot his mother dead on March 31 of the same year. Barbara Waite, 64, was hit in the back of the head while playing the piano indoors.

The next day, Grantham covered his mother’s body with a sheet and left home with the intention of killing the politician.
The information was released on the first day of the actor’s hearing this week.

He also confessed that after his mother’s murder he freaked out, wrote in his journal, videotaped next to the body, got money, returned home, tested making Molotov cocktails and watched two and a half hours of TV.

The next day, he left home with the aim of claiming another victim: Trudeau. In addition to discussions with the police, the actor also wrote the intention in a diary.
Halfway through, however, Grantham changed his mind and turned himself in to the police. He could be sentenced to life imprisonment. The hearing will continue next week.
