A$AP Rocky revealed he loves being a dad.
The 34-year-old rapper welcomed a son with pop star Rihanna, 34, in May last year and has now admitted fatherhood has given him a “whole new perspective” on his creative endeavors.
“I can’t even explain it, man. You come home to heaven every day. I am so grateful. God is good man,” said the musician, who sang with Rihanna at last week’s Golden Globe Awards, in an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1.

‘It’s just one of those things. I’m now a member of our club, the papa club so to speak. You see a father, you see me… I’m a full father now,” he continued.
“Being outside and working and being creative puts more energy into obviously thinking and soaking things up like a sponge now that I’m a dad because I have a whole ‘different perspective,'” he added.
“But it honestly helps you get home to your family and home to your baby,” Rocky continued.

The couple has yet to publicly announce their son’s name, but Rihanna shared an adorable first video of the little boy on her TikTok.
A$AP Rocky also expressed how excited he is for his partner to be making a musical comeback and returning to the stage at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in February.
The performance comes ahead of the release of her ninth studio album, having focused on her Fenty Beauty brands for the past seven years.
Rihanna hasn’t released a studio album since her 2016 hit Anti, which also garnered some of the best reviews of her career.

He admitted he was “super excited” to see the Umbrella hitmaker back on stage and described her comeback as “amazing”.
“I’m super excited. That’s so huge. That’s incredible. I’m so glad my lady is back in music and so on and out again. It’s just amazing…I’m more excited than anyone, honestly.”
Rocky has been without a new album for almost as long as his love interest, with his last LP being 2018’s Testing. However, he’s now also working on a new release and released his latest single ‘Same Problems’ on Wednesday.

Both the rapper and the Barbados-born beauty seem to feel the same about their bundle of joy after a source recently shared with People that motherhood suits her.
“Rihanna loves being a mom. She’s obsessed with her baby boy,” the insider shared.
The insider also said Rocky is “also very dedicated and a great dad.”

In early 2020, rumors began circulating that the couple was dating, despite having worked together on multiple occasions in previous years.
Rocky previously opened for the US leg of Rihanna’s Diamonds World Tour in 2013.
That same year, Rihanna also starred in his music video “Fashion Killa.”
By November 2020, an insider revealed to People that the longtime friends had officially become an item.
In a 2021 interview with GQ, Rocky spoke about being a dad one day after calling Rihanna “the love of.” [his] life” and “the one”.
