Eagerly anticipated, six years after his last concert, the 34-year-old artist appeared floating on a platform hanging over the field at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, home of the NFL Professional Football Championship finals .

Wearing a red jumpsuit and matching coat, Rihanna moved among several hundred dancers, all dressed in white jumpsuits, some on raised platforms, others on the field itself.

Demonstrating a few dance moves, the first billionaire to perform the Super Bowl show ($1.4 billion in personal fortune) put on a sober performance, unusual for the fireworks that usually mark the date.

The singer didn’t greet a guest either, another rarity for this show, which even saw Beyoncé share the poster with Coldplay and Bruno Mars in 2016.

More than the song list or the choreography, fans mostly commented on Rihanna’s physique, whose tight outfit revealed a glimpse of her round stomach.

“RiRi pregnant?” Dallas-based NBC reporter Holley Ford tweeted.

“Rihanna can be pregnant, but she can also just have the body,” warned a newborn, New York-based Alexa Lardieri, also on Twitter, before a spokesperson for Rihanna didn’t put an end to the suspense.

Nine months after the birth of their son, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky still haven’t revealed his first name. Speaking about her performance at the Super Bowl on Thursday, Rihanna said it was “important that[her]son sees it.”
