Jen Shah’s new federal penitentiary is anything but shah-mazing.

The ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ star’s comfortable life is over after she surrendered to the Federal Bureau of Prisons on Friday to begin her six-and-a-half-year sentence.

Her life behind bars at Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, will include a 6 a.m. wake-up call followed by a “rigorous” schedule, TMZ reports.

In July 2022, the 49-year-old pleaded guilty to defrauding thousands of people, mostly elderly people, out of money in a telemarketing scheme.

And her life at FPC Bryan will be very different from what Bravo fans saw on the hit show, where Shah splurged on lavish vacations, restaurants and designer items to accommodate her expensive lifestyle.

The outlet reports that Shah will be forced to keep her cell in good working order, which includes making her bed, taking out the trash and sweeping the floor.

Her workdays will include either hospitality or factory jobs, the outlet notes, but it’s still unclear which job the Bravolebrity will take on.

Shah will also be forced to ditch her shiny jewels for something much cheaper, as the prison forbids inmates from wearing anything that isn’t issued by the government.

A wedding ring and religious necklace are the only items allowed, and the value of each item is capped at a strict limit of $100.

Page Six previously reported that Shah will have to share a bunk with another inmate and will have access to toiletries, soup and gourmet snacks.

Taking to her Instagram on Friday, Shah shared a statement with her 233,000 followers just before reporting to jail.

“I’m surrendering today to serve a sentence in federal prison,” she began. “This is the price I have to pay for the bad decisions I’ve made. People have been hurt because of my choices.”

“During my incarceration, I will work to make amends and be reconciled with the victims of my crime.”

“In time, I pray that people will judge me for how I reacted to this verdict, and not just for the decisions that got me into prison,” she continued.

“I believe in earning freedom and I will work towards that goal by making things right with the people I’ve hurt.”

Before turning herself in on Friday, Shah decided to get the names of her husband and sons – Sharrief, Sharrief Jr. and Omar – tattooed on her right forearm.

Her youngest son Omar returned the gesture by getting his mother’s middle name ‘Keiki’ tattooed on his left arm.
