While opening up about her former co-star in an interview with AllAboutTRH, the 42-year-old TV personality clarified why she called Gorga for allegedly lying about having multiple cosmetic surgeries.
“It wasn’t her four rhinoplasty jobs that I called out over dinner. That was already obvious to everyone,” she clarified a diss she did on her reality show in 2016. “Who cares that she did procedures? Everyone in the cast does stuff.’

She continued, “The part you missed was me giving an example of how she can lie with a straight face, like she did the first time Andy Cohen asked her on WWHL, if she has rhinoplasty and she lied straight to his face and said it was “contour”.
The mother-of-two further marveled at “how easy it is for” Gorga “to lie with a straight face.”
Laurita then admitted to feeling “upset and confused about how Melissa turned her back on her on the show,” despite always feeling like she was a “good and supportive friend” to her.

“I felt used by her. She planted seeds that I was paranoid when she was the only paranoid and also made me feel paranoid with the things she was telling me,” she continued.
Although some viewers felt that Gorga was simply trying to be loyal to her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, Laurita insisted that wasn’t the reason for her rival.
“It was about how the fans would see them and also to keep a wedge between us. That’s when I realized who she really is and from that day on I had no interest in ever speaking to her again,” Laurita concluded.

“I think Melissa twisted the on-camera narrative to make viewers think I’m the one who’s jealous of their relationship,” she said. “The truth is…I’ve never been jealous of their relationship. I knew how they really felt about each other and I always told Melissa (and Teresa too) to fake it until it worked.”
“I had to accept that ‘reality’ on our show isn’t really ‘reality’ anymore,” she said after saying she had no intention of returning to the show.
After leaving the show, she says she “loves” her “quiet, private life.”
