Rhian captioned her post: “Holy Moley.

“My counselor found that a birthmark on my leg looks very suspicious and today got me to have it cut out.

“It’s also quite big, so I’m nervous. Need up to 12 stitches. Always be sure to keep an eye on changing birthmarks and birthmarks. If they look dodgy, hell has ’em flogged. Better to be safe than sorry. #birthmark #mole check.’

What are the signs of skin cancer?

There are three main types of skin cancer: melanoma (including nodular melanoma), basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma.

It comes after the star recently opened up about her anxiety diagnosis for the first time, revealing her lifelong phobia of being sick, which began when she was just three years old, causing panic attacks and hospitalizing her.

Speaking to former Love Island star Dr. Alex George on the Stompcast podcast, Rhian admitted her phobia of being sick took over her life and even her husband struggled to cope with her panic attacks and anxiety.

Rhian revealed that her anxiety has impacted much of her life for over 30 years – from preventing her from getting on school buses, to being banned from holidaying abroad and eating most food, to being seriously underweight.

For years, medical professionals had struggled to help the model, but after deciding to try different therapies herself – including shock therapy and hypnotherapy – she recently said she’s finally learned how to handle it better.

Rhian explained: “For the last five years I have been diagnosed with anxiety. But I’ve had it since I was about three, four years old, and back then it wasn’t really a thing.

“For as long as I can remember, I’ve been miserable. I feel like it’s taken over a lot of my life, but it stems from a phobia of being sick.

“I have an idea where it came from because I’ve had so many different types of therapy over the years. I’ve had hypnotherapy, CBT therapy (cognitive behavioral therapy), shock therapy.

“And they sort of guided me back – something I never thought was possible. I thought that was just ridiculous talk but they managed to pull memories out of me that I didn’t know I had. That was the hypnotherapy that did it.

Rhian explained that hypnotherapy helped resurface memories from her childhood, including witnessing a lady getting sick while eating at her school, which helped her understand when the phobia started.
