An apology from the Hungarian Prime Minister and the Hungarian Ambassador is needed

Vienna (OTS) – Michel Reimon, spokesman for the Greens in Europe, criticizes the action of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who referred to a greater Hungary on Sunday night as from another world. Orbán was filmed with a scarf on which a map of Hungary showed parts of EU countries, Austria, Slovakia, Romania and Croatia, as well as Ukraine.

Already in 2020, the Prime Minister posted a photo with a globe showing the Kingdom of Hungary before the end of the First World War. “The fact that Orbán is now repeating this provocation at the time of the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine is provocative and unacceptable,” Reimon said, demanding an immediate apology from Orbán and the Hungarian ambassador to Austria, Andor Nagy, for this action.
