Reese Witherspoon sent a sweet birthday message to her mother, Betty, who turned 74 on Thursday.
The 46-year-old actress appeared to be a carbon copy of her mother in some pictures she shared on Instagram.
And the Morning Show star added the message: “Happy birthday to the most amazing mum in the whole world! Every day I hear you laugh while you tell the best stories is such a gift! Please continue to bring sunshine into our lives.”

The photos show just how alike Reese and her mother are. Both share the same blue eyes, blond hair and gorgeous smile.
Nurse: Betty worked as a nurse. In a December 2021 interview on The Drew Barrymore Show, the Oscar winner told the audience in an emotional interview, “I saw my mother save lives.”
In the former, the couple have their heads close together, while the Morning Show star wears a red and white plaid top with her long blonde hair in loose layers. Betty’s hair is styled in her signature updo and wears a blue top.

In a December 2021 interview on The Drew Barrymore Show, the Big Little Lies star was on the verge of tears as she spoke about her mother’s compassion for others during her nursing career.
“My mom worked night shifts, she worked weekends, so I kind of had to take care of myself. Me and my brother made dinner and everything. She was so tired but she just loved her patients.”
“I saw my mother save lives. Whether it was saving a child from drowning, she was helping her very best friend who had a terrible accident when we were very young and I watched her revive her on the side of a freeway. We focus and don’t highlight the people doing the hard, difficult work of saving lives.”
