Last year, the ‘Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar’ tested positive for COVID-19, only to be told it was more likely the RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) virus she was suffering from.

The music legend and her partner Rex Linn both tested positive for the virus despite being fully vaccinated.

We’re sorry! In a social media statement, she said: “An update on this weekend’s shows. My doctor advised me to go on vocal rest, so I made the difficult decision to reschedule this weekend’s shows.

She said on a TikTok livestream: “I just want to say one thing: this has been a rough year and it’s going to get rough again. Guys please stay healthy. wear your mask Do what you have to do. Stay at home.

“It’s not fun to get that. I understand it. Rex and I get it and it’s no fun. You do not feel well. We were both vaccinated and still have it so stay safe, stay home and protect yourself as best you can.

However, when tested for antibodies, it was found that she had all the symptoms of the coronavirus, but her nurse suggested it was more likely the RSV virus.

Reba, who appeared on Talk Shop Live with Nancy O’Dell, said: “I said I had COVID but when I had my antibodies tested it turned out I didn’t have COVID.

“I had my antibodies from my vaccine. So I had all the symptoms, so I was quite likely – I got tested, you know the test I had and he said I had it, but then the nurse who came and tested me for my antibodies said that I probably had the RSV virus.”
