The video of the Russian protagonists appeared on the Telegram channel «Cheka-Ogpu» But he is not the only one: the appeals are spreading on social channels. Prigozhin, a loyal man of Putin, is waiting for an interview with Moscow.
The Russian frame
On the Telegram profile, in addition to the video, there is an accompanying comment that frames what is happening.
“The army commands it doesn’t allow Wagner to show anything other than Ugledar’s failure (a one-off failure with heavy casualties in men and equipment and no results). You understand that deploying troops is expensive, but Prigozhin is not so quick to dismiss old, trained personnel. Therefore, the story about the ammunition shortage was spiced up. And it’s very disturbing. There are other reasons too. For example they (Gerasimov, MuradovLapin, etc.) attack Prigozhin with harsh criticism that can pass as a violation of Putin’s order “not to wash dirty linen in public” in order not to “shake up the situation on the war front”. This came after a pointed allegation against Gerasimov. That’s why they so kindly ask for ammo in the video: even the pmcs understand what’s happening.
The words of the Wagner group
«The artillery unit of «PMC Wagner» welcomes you. Every day we carry out complex combat missions and cover our task forces. At the moment we are completely cut off from the supply of ammunition. At the moment there is an acute shortage of howitzer ammunition, respectively 152 mm D-1, also for the MT-12 anti-tank gun – 100 mm high-explosive fragmentation, for the T-72 tank – 125 mm high-explosive fragmentation , including for a 120-mm -2B11 Mortar.
We appeal to our colleagues and friends at the Department of Defense. We’re sure you have some ammo in the warehouses somewhere. But we need it urgently. We would be very grateful if you would help us, help us and provide us with this ammunition. A large number of people will survive and continue to successfully participate in hostilities, which will be reflected throughout the course of the war. We will work for you, we will do this work. Help us with the ammunition.’
Prigozhin’s movements
In another video, released a few hours after the previous one, a man, the extent of which is not exactly understood, says in an angry tone: “Every day we lose hundreds of our comrades. It could have been half if military had provided us with weapons in time, ammunition and everything that was needed. Stop forming your own opinion, let’s fight, let’s defend our country, our homeland. Here are hundreds of our children. Send your kids genres spinning Tik Toks to this war ». The video is accompanied by the following caption: “Enough of lawlessness, let’s fight, defend our country, our homeland – the Wagner fighters appealed to the military for a timely supply of weapons, ammunition and everything necessary. The boys pointed out that their casualties would have been much less if supplies had not been cut off.”
Prigozhin, that “Butcher” by Putin, would have gone to Moscow to ask for ammunition. Some “friends” of Kadyrov they would have provided him with ammunition, but not enough (and in any case, the sources are not certain, ed.).
