Pro-Trump vlogger Diamond died of heart disease due to chronic high blood pressure

Lynette “Diamond” Hardaway, a vlogger and avid supporter of former President Donald Trump, died earlier this month of a heart condition. Her sister said she collapsed on the kitchen floor screaming, “I can’t breathe.”

Hardaway, 51, best known as the star of conservative political commentator duo Diamond and Silk, died on January 8 of heart disease caused by chronic high blood pressure.

Hardaway’s cause of death, which was not released by the family, had become the subject of widespread speculation.

COVID-19 was not listed as a cause or contributing factor on her death certificate, which was submitted to the AP by the Hoke County Register of Deeds and signed by a local doctor. No autopsy was performed.

Hardaway and her sister, Rochelle “Silk” Richardson, rose to internet fame as black women who passionately supported Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign.

After several campaign appearances with the former president, the two used their notoriety to land regular commentating roles on Fox News.

Their promotion of fake coronavirus eventually got them dropped, but they ended up with far-right cable and digital media platform Newsmax.

A flurry of social media users suggested that COVID-19 was to blame.

Many of the posts were based on an unsourced and since deleted online report from November that claimed Hardaway was hospitalized with COVID-19.

Both diamond and silk vehemently denied that the virus had taken Hardaway to the hospital.

The memorial for Hardaway took a dark turn on Saturday as Richardson described the final moments of the late 51-year-old, alluding to a nefarious act of poisoning she claims caused her death.

A memorial ceremony held in Fayetteville, North Carolina and streamed online on Saturday renewed speculation when Richardson suggested her sister’s death was somehow related to the COVID-19 vaccine.

“Rather than asking whether Americans are vaccinated or not, the real question to ask is: Are Americans being poisoned?” Silk asked the pro-Trump crowd filled with friends and family.

“In the wild, when they want to depopulate and sterilize a large group of animals, they typically inject one animal, and that one animal infects the rest of the animals,” Silk said, suggesting with no evidence that the COVID-19 vaccine is harmful.

“People drop dead here and nobody talks about it! You drop dead suddenly and unexpectedly.’

According to research, there is no evidence the COVID-19 vaccine is causing any deaths, although far-right experts reinforced the phrase “died suddenly” on social media, followed by videos of people having seizures to support their theories.

Richardson, who was joined by Trump on the memorial’s stage, said her sister died after returning to her home in North Carolina from a relative’s birthday party. Richardson noticed that her sister looked odd.

Hardaway suddenly said, “I can’t breathe,” Richardson recalled. She and her husband performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the kitchen floor while waiting for emergency services.

Trump followed the radical speech and threw his support behind Silk, who he admitted he ‘just found out about it’ although she has met her several times with her sister Diamond.
