Priyanka Chopra Jonas is British Vogue’s newest cover star, and this superstar mom is wasting no time in showing everyone what a strong, badass woman she is.

The 40-year-old actress and British Vogue account shared photos from the shoot on Instagram, which show Priyanka wearing a variety of outfits that are truly stunning. First up is Priyanka in a sheer yellow dress that accentuates her curves and powerful legs. This is followed by a shot of Priyanka in a striking blue off-the-shoulder dress with myriad cutouts that emphasize her overall tone.

Then head over to Priyanka’s Instagram stories and you can see some behind-the-scenes footage of the shoot, where she’s working on that see-through dress in earnest. The video is then cut to a video of her posing with her adorable daughter, Malti, who is only visible from the back.

What does Priyanka do to get so strong? For starters, she’s a big jumper (which she calls “skipping” for the record). “I learned it really, really well in school,” she previously told Pinkvilla. “I’m trying to get my cardio into my jumping. It’s easy to carry, you have your skipping rope in your pocket, it’s easy to use.”

Priyanka said she intends to train three times a week. For this busy star, that usually means going for a “quick workout” in the morning. However, Priyanka has said she is “never consistent” with it. (She is, after all, the mother of a toddler… .)

On the food front, Priyanka told Pinkvilla that she’s into anything. “I love food,” she said. “I can not help it. For example, I live for food… . I eat breakfast and talk about lunch, I eat lunch and talk about dinner.”

One of her favorites is stuffed parathas, which are basically Indian flatbreads filled with a spicy potato mix. For lunch, Priyanka says she’ll reach for ghar ka khana, which is usually a vegetarian stew. However, she notes, “I can’t cook, so I can’t make anything for myself.”

Overall, Priyanka told Women’s Health in 2016 that she’s trying to be healthy, but she’s not stressing about it. “You don’t have to kill yourself at the gym,” she said. “You don’t have to starve yourself. I love having my pizzas and burgers and buffalo wings on the side, of course. But I also like to stay fit.”
