  • Samantha Markle wants Prince Harry to testify under oath against Meghan
  • She also wants Meghan to state that King Charles and the late Queen “are not racist.”

Meghan Markle’s sister Samantha is urging Prince Harry to testify under oath against his wife as she prepares to bring her defamation case back to court.

In legal documents filed in Florida on Friday, Ms Markle has asked the Duke of Sussex to take oath at a sworn trial, reports The Mirror.

The 56-year-old is suing Meghan, 41, for £60,000 in damages and claims her reputation was left in tatters after her sister spread “malicious lies” in her 2021 Oprah interview.

Ms Markle is also urging Meghan to be interviewed on camera a day before testifying and reportedly wants her to make 38 separate admissions in the case.

Among the admissions, she reportedly wants Meghan to publicly state that both the late Queen Elizabeth and King Charles “are not racist.”

It is understood Meghan wants the case dismissed outright.

Ms Markle, who has multiple sclerosis, claims she was a victim of “humiliation and hatred” on the back of “provenly false and malicious statements” allegedly made by her sister.

She has also reportedly solicited testimony from father Thomas Markle, former royal aide Jason Knauf, her daughter Ashleigh Hale and online security expert Christopher Bouzy.

A mediator was appointed to avoid a trial, while Meghan’s lawyer, Michael J. Kump, reportedly said Ms Markle’s claims were irrelevant.

Ms Markle was reportedly offended by Meghan’s memory of growing up as an “only child”. When she first expressed her anger at the comments, the Duchess of Sussex pointed out that she was merely describing her opinion.

Her difficult relationship with Meghan exploded in public after the announcement of her sister’s engagement to Prince Harry in 2017.

She was quoted by journalists as saying “The Queen would be appalled” and calling her a “Ducha**” on Twitter.

She gave numerous interviews attacking the Duchess, but has since backed down and complimented her.

Ms Markle published a book about her sister called The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister: A Memoir, Part One.

It reveals details of the Markles’ upbringing, including the rivalry when their father was still married to Doria Ragland, the actress’ mother.

But Ms Markle also writes about her adoration for Meghan as a baby, describing the child as “biracial, beautiful and the color of both a peach and a rose”.

And recently, Ms Markle appeared on an Australian breakfast news show criticizing the royals’ six-part Netflix docuseries.

She labeled it a “flopumentary” that was “ridiculous” and bordered on “comedy.”

“There’s so much rhetoric at this point, and so many lies thrown out there, debunked, and yet there’s still that repeated need to push that narrative forward.”
