Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will travel to the UK and Germany next month for three charity events. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to visit a number of charities close to their hearts in early September,” a spokesman for the couple told reporters.

The couple will attend the One Young World Summit in Manchester, England on September 5, the Invictus Games 2023 presentation in Dusseldorf, Germany on September 6, and perform at the WellChild Awards in London on September 8.

Harry, 37, and Markle, 41, last visited the UK in June to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations with their two children, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1.

Lili was taken to the home of Prince Charles’ youngest son for the first time on her recent trip to the UK. Queen Elizabeth II, 96, met her great-granddaughter at Windsor Castle just days before Lilibet’s first birthday.

Harry and Markle took a back seat and weren’t involved in any major royal family appearances during the anniversary as they stepped down from their duties in early 2020.

After moving to California, Harry and Markle only returned to London a few times. The Sussexes secretly visited Elizabeth II in April, stopping in the UK while heading to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games. It was the first time since the so-called “Megxit” that the former US actress returned to the UK.

They also met Harry’s father Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Parker Bowles, although they didn’t see either Prince William or his sister-in-law Kate Middleton amid Harry’s rocky relationship with the Duke of Cambridge.

Harry has been to the UK a few times more than his wife, only returning home to attend the unveiling of a statue of his late mother Princess Diana in July 2021 and the funeral of his grandfather Prince Philip in April.

Although they haven’t spent much time in California, Harry and Markle were spotted in New York in July. Harry and his wife visited the United Nations premises for the UN Nelson Mandela Prize in New York.

The Prince and Meghan Markle visited South Africa with their son Archie in 2019, it was their first official tour as a family before stepping down from their roles in the British royal family.
