Prince Charles’ goddaughter India Hicks hosts dinner party for Jennifer Aniston

It’s not every day you invite three Hollywood stars over for dinner, but India Hicks had the rare privilege at her home in the Bahamas last month.

Hicks, a descendant of the Mountbatten family and goddaughter of Prince Charles, welcomed actors Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman along with presenter Jimmy Kimmel to the Caribbean estate she shares with husband David Flint Wood.

On Friday, the former model, 54, shared photos to Instagram from her visit to the scenic island, giving fans an update on a more recent, and arguably more eventful, trip to Miami.

Hicks, who moved to the Bahamas in 1996, captioned it: “This was a dinner we had a few weeks ago. It was a lot more fun than the last few days. Much more fun with some very fun people.”

The images included shots of former Friends star Aniston, 53, posing for photos alongside the children of Hicks’ mother-of-five – including daughter Domino, 13, and sons Conrad, 19, and Amory, 23.

Hicks also shared photos of the lush outdoor setting used to entertain her guests, with a large dining table adorned with watermelons and lemons and set near a cluster of palm trees on her property.

Other photos showed Bateman, 53, and Kimmel, 54, posing for selfies during the extravagant meal with the hostess and her family.

Hicks also admitted that a subsequent trip to the Florida capital was no less memorable, albeit for the wrong reasons.

She wrote: “So I got to Miami and even got a new tooth, but in the cab on the way back to the airport, my elderly driver lost his mind and pulled right into the oncoming lane and nearly killed us and the other driver.

“The other driver, understandably shocked and angry, turned his car around and followed us, honking his horn, flashing his lights and shouting at him. My driver, now driving at high speed, pulled out his phone and tried to make a call with wrinkled, arthritic fingers “Who are you calling?” I yelled from behind, “the police,” said the driver, “me report this madman.”

“Because of so many canceled flights, it took me almost a full day to get home, a journey that would normally only take a few hours. I sat in Dunkin’ Donuts for several hours before boarding the last tiny plane home.

”Time to spare, fly Pineapple Air’ Because when this flight took off on time, the only problem was that the cabin door didn’t seal properly, a blast of warm air filled the cabin as we took off. No one seemed to care that we were flying over the ocean with the door half open.’

She added: “On the floor, luggage was unloaded, everyone grabbed their bags and left. “My suitcase isn’t here,” I called to the baggage handler. “Lady, everything was unloaded,” he replied. It was only then that I realized I hadn’t checked in the damn bag. It must still be in Dunkin’ Donuts.

“I called the airport. A helpful someone went in search of the bag. “No, nothing,” she said when I called back. Someone, somewhere, must be enjoying a brand new cucumber ball bat. And my menopause pills. Have fun with whoever you are.’
