30 years after the debut of Power RangersStars of the series are reunited in a special of the Netflixas revealed this Tuesday (17) by EW.
Justified Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Alwaysthe special will star David Jost (Billy the Blue Ranger) Walter Emmanuel Jones (Zack the Black Ranger) and Catherine Sutherland (Kat, the second pink ranger), as well as Steve Cardenas, Karan Ashley and Johnny YongBosch. Barbara Gutsonthe voice of Rita Repulsa will also return.
“Our ranger family has a strong bond,” Jones told the publication. Yost, in turn, celebrated the opportunity to meet with his colleague. “It was a surreal experience to be back on the set of Power Rangers after 28 years.”

The new adventure will see the rangers “confronted with a threat from the past”. The synopsis continues: “In the midst of a global crisis, you are called upon once again to be the heroes the world needs. Inspired by the legendary mantra ‘once a ranger, always a ranger’, Once & Always reminds everyone that when you become a ranger, you’re always a part of the family”.
It remains to be seen if the special will have a tribute Jason David Frankthe green ranger who died in November at the age of 49.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always Premiered on Netflix April 19.
