The 16-year-old Latina mother who was murdered Monday with her baby and four other members of the same family in a California home was trying to flee the “massacre” when she was shot in the head, the sheriff’s office said Tuesday with District.
Alissa Parraz and Nycholas Parraz, 10 months old, They were two of six killed in an attack in the small farming community of Goshen that Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux likened to executions by criminal gangs or drug cartels.
According to forensics, The person or persons who shot the mother and her baby stood on their bodies while they were being murdered, Boudreaux said. Both were found lifeless on the street in front of the house.
The sheriff’s office originally said the teen was 17 and their baby was 6 months old.

Eladio Parraz was the teens’ uncle, Rosa Parraz was their grandmother and Analla was in a relationship with another family member who was not among the fatalities, Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Teresa Douglass said.
“None of this was accidental,” Boudreaux added. “It was intentional, intentional and terrible.”
Authorities believe two people were responsible for the shooting. None of them were identified or arrested, and Boudreaux gave no further details on the matter.

One person who survived but was not identified called 911 from the home and reported the shooting around 3:30 a.m., the sheriff said. “He heard gunshots in the hallway,” he said. “He put his feet against the door to prevent her from opening it.”
At one point, the person heard the attackers pry open the door handle before continuing on their way, Boudreaux said. “I was so scared I could only hold the door open hoping I wouldn’t be the next victim,” he added.
Two other survivors hid in a nearby trailer, where one of the victims was fatally shot, he said, adding that the gunmen did not enter the trailer. Three other victims were found in the home.

Seven minutes after authorities received the 911 call, sheriff’s deputies arrived at the home in the Central Valley, California farming community.
Boudreaux declined to say why the family appeared to have been targeted by a criminal gang or drug cartel. He claimed that the house had previously been linked to gang activity.
One of the victims, Eladio Parraz, was arrested there earlier this month while authorities reviewed his parole conditions. He was in possession of multiple weapons and drugs. Parraz was released on bail four days later, Boudreaux said.
The authorities have offered a $10,000 reward for information related to the murders.
