At the same time the report was published on Twitter, Trump sent out a spate of confirmations from his Save American PAC email Thursday morning — just five days until the 2022 midterm elections on Nov. 8.

The trespassing in Mar-a-Lago also follows an increase in violence and public hostility towards politicians.

A man broke into House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco home, where the suspect hit her husband Paul in the head with a hammer, allegedly saying he was there to punch the politician in the kneecaps.

The campaign headquarters of Arizona Democratic gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs was broken into last week – but it doesn’t appear the crime was politically motivated.

President Joe Biden delivered a speech from Union Station in Washington, DC on Wednesday night, blaming Trump, his supporters and the Jan. 6 riot for the escalation in political violence.

Republicans immediately called the speech “divisive” and “patronizing” and said Biden was focused on insulting Trump and his supporters for failing to defend his record ahead of the midterm elections.
