The “Tiger” posted a scorecard of 67 and now finds himself in 26th place with six other players.

The 47-year-old started his day at Lions with an eagle on the first hole. He also threaded three birdies during the 18 holes.

Unlike Friday, when he made five bogeys, Woods scored just one on his workday.

For his part, Canada’s Adam Svensson put in an excellent performance, returning a scorecard of 68 that allowed him to move up to joint sixth among the leaders. Canadians Mackenzie Hughes (71) and Nick Taylor (70) are now neck and neck with six other golfers in 55th place.

The Maple Leaf’s other representative, Adam Hadwin, didn’t have the performance he wanted, finishing the day with a score of 75. Moose Jaw native Sask. fell behind at 65 after day three at Riviera Country Club.

Denny McCarthy (64) was the best Saturday with a great performance of six birdies and an eagle.

At the end of the third round, Jon Rahm (65) found himself three strokes ahead at the top of the standings.
