Federal police and Ibama agents went to Nicole Bahl’s farm in Itaboraí, in the Rio metropolitan area, to pick up her two pet monkeys.
The PF proved that the monkeys were from pet trade and the documentation of the monkeys was wrong. Sadly, Nicole reported everything that happened this Wednesday, April 18.
“Yesterday an operation was carried out here at Federal Police and at Ibama to look at Mikal and Davis’ documents and we found that the documents of the two monkeys are forged. They have been returned to their natural habitat, to nature, and I will work together to achieve this in the best possible way,” she said.

Nicole enthusiastically shared the dream of having the little monkeys that her boyfriend, the businessman Marcelo Viana, had given her.
“I’m devastated. It’s been 90 days with them, breastfeeding, love, affection. They (the agents) have been here and seen that the little animals are very well taken care of, that they are free here on the farm and the trees jump in. I didn’t take the little monkeys as pets,” he explained.
She even asked people not to buy wild animals. “I would like to warn you not to buy wild animals, that you do not make mistakes like I did. Animal trade is very sad.”
