Pedro Andrade will use hallucinogens in the new season of the CNN program

THE CNN Brazil bring back the program Pedro Andrade to your schedule. The journalistic broadcaster defined that the “Between Worlds” will return to the air starting on the 19th of this month at 10:30 p.m.

In the new episodes, the host travels to a surfing paradise in Puerto Rico and rides a mule through the Mexican countryside to see how mezcal, the millenniaold beverage stronger than tequila, is made. There he also gets to know the skirmishes, as the Mexican knights are called, who even take part in rodeos. “I was interested in them, so it’s an episode about Mexican traditions, but it’s also about the role of women in that culture,” he says.

Lived experiences also include a visit to a senior citizens’ hospital in Florida, an immersion into the everyday life of Muslims in New York and a trip to the first city in the USA to decriminalize hallucinogens. Detail: Pedro will try the drug. “I take mushrooms, I’m experimenting anyway, I think a lot of people are going to be absolutely amazed, impressed, I would say how much we didn’t know about hallucinogens, about psychedelics,” he says.
