He rose to fame as a fashion specialist on Queer Eye For The Straight Guy.

And Carson Kressley has barely aged a day since the show first premiered almost twenty years ago.

The American star, 53, looked incredibly youthful as he landed in Sydney for the WorldPride celebrations on Thursday.

Caron dressed comfortably for his flight – wearing a fitted white wool sweater and black sweatpants, paired with a baseball cap and multicolored white sneakers.

Carson brought his own luggage, including a $3,550 Louis Vuitton weekend bag.

At one point, he was spotted texting on his phone and waiting for an Uber after the flight.

Carson has been a familiar face on Australian television screens over the years, having starred in Queer Eye for four years and taking part in the Australian version of I’m Of A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in 2017.

During his time on the reality series, he said it didn’t come as a big surprise when he came out to his parents.

Carson, who was 33 at the time, told his parents just a weekend before doing the cover of TV Guide for Queer Eye.

“We wanted to be on the cover of the TV guide – I knew it would come out on a Tuesday – for the premiere of the show.

“I told them I was doing this new show and they said, ‘What’s her name?’ I’m like, ‘It doesn’t have a name yet, it’s the untitled makeover show’.”

As his big TV moment approached, Carson knew he had to tell his parents the truth.

He said: “Literally the weekend before the TV magazine came out with us on the cover and the name of the show, I had to tell them.”

‘I said, ‘The show I do is called Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’. She said, “Let me guess, you’re not the straight guy? Yeah. We kind of knew.” It wasn’t big news at my house.’

Carson also told his campmates about the frequent bullying he suffered at school as a young gay man.

He said, “What’s especially difficult for gay kids is that you go home and you’re afraid to tell someone because you’re afraid no one will love you.”

Carson began his career as an independent stylist, then worked for Ralph Lauren from 1994 to 2002 in menswear and corporate advertising.

He then became the fashion expert on Queer Eye when the show debuted on the Bravo cable network in 2003.
