Packers lead Saints 13-10 after three

The Packers’ defense forced a three-and-off early in the second half. Green Bay started at his own 20-yard line after an 81-yard punt by Blake Gilliken.

Love stayed in the game even as the Packers switched their offensive line, with Caleb Jones coming in at left tackle, Cole Van Lanen at left guard and Sean Rhyan at right guard.

Green Bay went three-and-out, with Pat O’Donnell hitting a 62-yard punt to push the Saints back to their own 9 with a penalty kick.

The Saints put the Packers in a third-and-9 situation but picked up an illegal contact penalty on a new set of downs. Love threw a deep shot to Samori Toure, but the seventh-round rookie couldn’t get it near the touchline.

Love fired off another beautiful pass to Amari Rodgers over Nephi Sewell at center in third and fifth, initially counted as an 18-yard catch. The Saints challenged the judgment in the field, which was reversed. Green Bay poked.

The Saints went three-and-out again, with Ty Summers attacking Abram Smith with a 2-yard loss in third and third.
