Ongoing police operation against illegal bikers

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) conducted twenty searches Wednesday morning as part of an operation against drug trafficking in Saint-Hyacinthe in Montérégie.

Police officers from the Regional Mixed Squad (ERM) Montérégie arrested several people suspected of being involved in drug trafficking linked to illegal motorcyclists.

In addition to the SQ’s tactical intervention group, more than 70 police officers were mobilized for this major operation against this network, which would operate in the Maskoutain’s MRC.
