On Saturday June 25 there will be a new strike by Ryanair pilots and flight attendants in Italy. The strike was called by the Filt Cgil and Uiltrasporti unions for the same reasons they launched the June 8 strike: the unions criticize the poor contractual and working conditions faced by pilots, flight attendants and other company employees, which they claim have deteriorated in recent months following the cuts and layoffs decided to deal with the economic crisis caused by the pandemic.
The trade unions had already warned on the occasion of the June 8 strike that there would be more if there were no concrete measures to improve working conditions. Strikes by Ryanair workers are also planned for June 25 in Spain and Portugal, and workers from France and Belgium could also join in the next few days.
