Olivia Newton-John’s touching final act of kindness is revealed after the superstar’s tragic death at the age of 73

Olivia Newton-John invested a large chunk of her personal fortune to support her charity three years before the superstar’s death.

The Grease star used money raised from a massive sale of her properties and invested it in the Olivia Newton-John Foundation for cancer research, reports the New York Post.

After learning in 2019 that she had stage four cancer, Olivia selflessly plunged into raising funds for the foundation, which started in 2012, by selling most of her massive real estate portfolio.

After failing to sell her California ranch in 2019, Olivia transferred ownership of the Santa Barbara estate to her husband, John Easterling.

In 2019, Olivia also sold her 189-acre farm in Dalwood, New South for $6.6 million.

The beloved star initially bought the land in the 1980s and rebuilt the home in the early 2000s.

“Olivia loved helping people. She’s spent the last two decades of her life giving back,” said a source close to the publication’s star.

“She wanted to leave something lasting that her daughter could benefit from.”

Over the years, Olivia has invested in her Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Center at Melbourne’s Austin Hospital.

Olivia died peacefully Monday morning at the age of 73 at her home in Southern California, surrounded by family and friends.

Her husband John Easterling revealed that the Xanadu star’s last wish was that instead of flowers, donations would be made to her charity, the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, in her memory.

In the heartbreaking post, he wrote: “Olivia has been a symbol of triumph and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer.
