Oblitas revealed why Solano left the Peru team quotHe spoke

The FPF director-general for football has given details of ‘Ñol”s departure as Bicolor’s assistant.

Juan Carlos Oblitas He is the current Football Director General of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF). The ex-footballer gave an interview for journalist Carlos Univazo’s YouTube show, in which he spoke about various topics. The ‘blind’ refers to the output of Nolberto Solano as a technical assistant Peruvian team and he said that some of his statements made him uncomfortable.

“Nolberto Solano was a special and close member of the technical staff throughout Ricardo Gareca’s time. When Ricardo arrived I told him I would like a Peruvian to give him the experience he needs. Gareca interviewed three: Paul Cominges, Carlos Silvestri and Nolberto Solano, in the end Nolberto was left,” he said.

“Nolberto Solano doesn’t continue because he spoke at the most imprecise moment and had some phrases that weren’t happy, in terms of ‘foreigner inflammation’ and things like that. That didn’t sit well with me. As I told him: “You have been with them (Ricardo Gareca and his technical command) for so long. What happened?’. I know that time has won him and he didn’t know how to express his feelings, but that’s why Ñol’ is not in the federation at the moment,” added the national leader.

When is the Peru team’s next game?

The Peruvian team will play two friendlies on the FIFA date in March. La Bicolor will play Germany on March 25th in Germanic territory and Morocco on March 28th in Spain.
