We can say that Richard Martineau didn’t stay put on QUB Radio on Wednesday. Have you ever heard him break sugar? However, on Wednesday morning he did so on the backs of officers. But not all officials, just those who are content to apply the rules without their judgment!

The Star Host took as an example the application of a statute by the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district of Montreal that prohibits owners from parking their vehicle… in their parking lot!
In fact, it is an old regulation dating back 50 years and is now strictly enforced. And that, according to Martineau, is scary.
“The officer has the right of life or death over you because the regulations provide for such a case, such a case,” he lamented.
With the price per square foot in Montreal, some owners have turned their garage into an extra space. And the city doesn’t seem to allow that. One thing is certain, the community’s arguments are far from convincing Richard Martineau.
