Danielle Bouchard and Marc Ramsay were defeated at the finish line by Derrick James in the World Boxing Council (WBC) Coach of the Year awards.

The two Quebecers were in contention for the honor presented on Tuesday.
In 2022, Bouchard watched her pugilist Kim Clavel win the WBC light flyweight world title and fight in a unification bout against Mexican Jessica Nery Plata, which she lost by unanimous decision last Friday.
For his part, Ramsay stands alongside Artur Beterbiev. The latter is the world light heavyweight champion of the WBC, the World Boxing Association (WBA) and the International Boxing Federation (IBF).
James, an American, is the father of unified welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. and undisputed super welterweight champion Jermell Charlo.
Also, Natasha Jonas won the title of Revelation of the Year. The Marie-Ève Dicaire woman killer won three world titles in just nine months last year.
